İŞ SİSTEMLERİNDE VE KURUMSAL YÖNETİŞİM UYGULAMALARINDA YAKINSAMA- IRAKSAMA TARTIŞMASI: MAKRO VE MİKRO BAKIŞ AÇISI

Öz

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı ulusal iş sistemleri dahilinde kurumsal
yönetişim uygulamalarında hukuki ve fiili düzeyde bir yakınsama olup
olmadığının araştırılmasıdır. Bu amaçla, Whitley (1999)’in iş sistemleri
yaklaşımına göre sınıflandırılan ülkeler, Dünya Ekonomik Forumu’nun
yayımladığı Global Rekabet Raporu (2004)’ndan elde edilen kurumsal
yönetişim uygulamalarının algılanan kalitesine ilişkin ülke verilerine göre
hiyerarşik kümeleme analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Analiz sonucunda, aynı iş
sistemine dahil olan ülkeler arasındaki kurumsal yönetişim uygulamalarında
hem hukuki hem de fiili düzeyde bir yakınsama, farklı iş sistemlerine sahip
ülkeler arasındaki kurumsal yönetişim uygulamalarında ise her iki düzeyde de
kısmi bir yakınsama ve ıraksama tespit edilmiştir.
