KENDİ KENDİNE LİDERLİK STRATEJİLERİ ÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Öz

Kendi kendine liderlik, bireylerin iş ve görevlerini yerine
getirebilmek için ihtiyaç duydukları motivasyonu sağlayarak gerçekleştirdikleri
kendi kendini etkileme süreci olarak tanımlanabilir. Kendi kendine liderlik
süreci davranış odaklı stratejiler, doğal ödül stratejileri ve yapıcı düşünce
modeli stratejileri olmak üzere üç önemli stratejiyi kapsamaktadır. Bu
stratejilerin ise bireysel performans üzerinde olumlu etkileri olduğu
düşünülmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, kendi kendine liderlik stratejilerinin iş
doyumu üzerindeki etkileri ve iş özerkliği ile yaş, cinsiyet, eğitim, toplam
çalışma süresi gibi kişisel değişkenlerin kendi kendine liderlik stratejileri
üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektir. Bu amaçla, veri toplama aracı olarak
kullanılan anket, Ankara’da bir özel hastanede çalışan 240 personele dağıtılmış
ve 145 kişiden (%60,5) yanıt alınmıştır. Yapılan regresyon analizleri sonucunda
elde edilen bulgulara göre, yaş, cinsiyet, evlilik süresi, liderlik eğitimi ve iş
özerkliği değişkenleri kendi kendine liderlik stratejilerinin kullanımını
etkilemektedir. Ayrıca kendi kendine liderlik stratejilerinden davranış odaklı
stratejiler ve doğal ödül stratejilerinin çalışanların iş doyumunu pozitif yönde
etkilerken, yapıcı düşünce modeli stratejilerinin iş doyumunu negatif yönde
etkilediği bulunmuştur.
