Personnel selection process is one of the most important and complex subject of human resource management because it necessitates taking into considerations many alternatives. Placing the right person to the right job depends on both identifying the necessity of the job and the firm and the developing a model which assists to select the best among alternatives. In this study, a model is suggested for the selection of human resource manager. The model is developed on the base of Analytic Hierarchy Process. Suggested model was applied for the selection of human resource manager and candidates are ranked objectively. Suggested model can be used for both selection and appointment of human resource managers and can be adapted to different positions.
