Uzaktan eğitimin üstün zekâlı öğrencilerin eğitimindeki yeri

Öz

Bu çalışma, uzaktan eğitimin üstün zekâlıların eğitiminde kullanılmasıyla ilgili literatürdeki araştırmaları incelemek üzere yapılmıştır. Çalışmada örgün eğitim ile uzaktan eğitimin karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. Ayrıca uzaktan eğitimin, üstün zekâlıların eğitiminde kullanılmasına yönelik olarak yapılandırılan hızlandırma, zenginleştirme, müfredat farklılaştırması gibi hususlar incelemeye konu edilerek, bu alanda yapılan araştırmalar ele alınmıştır. Araştırmalar kapsamında ortaya çıkan ve uzaktan eğitimin üstün zekâlıların eğitimi açısından sunmuş olduğu avantajlar ve dezavantajlar ele alınmıştır. Üstün zekâlılara yönelik olarak hazırlanacak olan programların sahip olması gereken niteliklere yer verilmiş ve söz konusu programlara dâhil olacak öğrencilerin hangi özelliklere sahip olması gerektiği hususlarına da değinilmiştir.
