Müze birçok fonksiyonu yerine getiren bir müessesedir. Müzelerin bilimsel açıdan araştırılması da çok yönlü olarak faydalı olacaktır. Örneğin sergi ve sergileme yalnız profilli bilimsel araştırmalara konu olmaz aynı zamanda müzecilik, psikolojik ve pedagoji gibi diğer disiplinler tarafından da araştırılmaktadır. Bu nedenlerden dolayı müzedeki tetkikatlar daha çok disiplinlerarası özellik taşımaktadır.Müzelerde yapılan araştırmalar ekspozisyon ve sergilerin teşkili açısından oldukça faydalı olmaktadır. Bununla birlikte insanlar arasında eğitici, geliştirici, aydınlatıcı fonksiyonlarını da yürütmektedir. Bu yönden yapılan araştırmaların sonuçları diğer bilim dalları içinde de önemli bir kaynak teşkil etmektedir. Özel bir disiplin olarak müzecilik kavramı pratik, teorik ve metodolojik temelleri oluşumun tarihsel deneyimini özetlemektedir. Müzecilik genel olarak bilim, eğitim ve kültür ile ilgili olmakla birlikte toplumsal gelişimin genel eğiliminden uzak kalmamıştır. İnsanın ahenkli gelişimini amaçlayan müzecilik faaliyetini anlamak elde edilmiş tarihsel tecrübe ve onun mahiyetini idrak etmeden mümkün değildir. Bu incelemede bilimsel müzecilik kavramının tanıtımı için daha kesin bir yaklaşımın örnek verilebilir olduğunu savunmaktayız. Makalede müzeciliğin pratik ve teorik sorunları ile ilgili imkân çerçevesinde ortaya koyabildiğimiz bazı fikirlerin Türkiye ”de de müze elemanları ve sanat adamları için faydalı olabileceğine inanıyoruz
Öz
A museum is a multifunctional institution and its research activities reorganized in complex and comprehensive way. For example, museum exposition is related not only to a specific scientific area but it may be also an integral part of research in Museology, Psychology or Education. Therefore the researches in museums should be considered as interdisciplinary. Quantity and quality of the researches conducted by a museum seem to be one of the key factors associated with scientific value of its expositions or exhibitions. On the other hand quality of researches has a great significance foreducationalactivities conducted in museums. The results of suchresearchescreate opportunities for further discoveries as well as increase capacities of various scientific disciplines.Researches in museums, make a great contribution to the organizations of the expositions and exhibitions. Nevertheless, they execute educational, improving and informative functions among people. In that respect, outcomes of these researches provide major resources for the other disciplines.As an exclusive discipline, the concept of museology summarizes the historical experience of practical, theoretical and methodological essentials. As well as being related to science, education and culture in general , museology has not been separated from the general tendency of public development. Understanding the museology as an activity which aims to the harmonious development of humanity is not possible without the perception of the historical experience and its significance.In this research, we support the idea that a more specific approach to introduce the perception of scientific museology can be used as an example. We believe that some ideas in this essay about the practical and theoretical problems of museology and their solutions, will be quite beneficial to the artists and museum employees in Turkey
