Tertullian’ın Kutsal Kitap Anlayışı

Öz

Farklı dini geleneklerce Tanrı’nın sözü olmasından dolayı kutsal kabul edilen
metinler dini geleneklerin merkezinde yer alır. Hıristiyanlığın kutsal
metinleri söz konusu olduğunda hacimli bir koleksiyon akla gelir. Latin
Hıristiyanlığının kurucusu olarak kabul edilen Tertullian, Kutsal Kitap’la
ilgili oluşturduğu kanon, kullandığı Kutsal Kitap versiyonu ve Kutsal Kitap
metinlerini algılama tarzı noktasında kendine özgü bir çizgi oluşturması
açısından çalışmamızın konusu oldu. Bu makale, Hıristiyanlığın Kutsal Kitap
anlayışına genel hatlarıyla değindikten sonra Tertullian’ın Kutsal Kitap
kanonunu, Kutsal Kitap’ın hangi versiyonunu kullandığı meselesini ve
hermenötiğini incelemektedir. Sonuç kısmında araştırmamız neticesinde
ulaştığımız bulgulara yer verilmekte ve değerlendirmelerde bulunulmaktadır.
