Sarıağız (Argyrosomus regius, Asso 1801) Balığının Toprak Havuzlarda Ticari Yetiştiriciliğinde Bazı Büyüme Parametrelerinin Belirlenmesi

Öz

Ülkemizde
ve Avrupa’da son yıllarda üretiminde artış gösteren ve çoğunlukla deniz
kafeslerinde besi yetiştiriciliği yapılan sarıağız (Argyrosomus regius Asso 1801) balığının toprak havuzlarda bir
üretim dönemindeki büyüme parametreleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma Muğla İli
Milas İlçesi sınırlarındaki Savran Mevkii’nde bulunan ASC Su Ürünleri Ltd. Şti.
firmasına ait toprak havuzda 13,2 ± 1,4 ortalama ağırlığa sahip 15.400 adet
yavru sarıağız ile yürütülmüştür. Besleme denemesi 15 Mart ile 15 Ekim 2012 tarihleri
arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneme sonunda ortalama ağırlık
301,03 ± 27,02 gr, spesifik
büyüme oranı 1,19, yem dönüşüm oranı 1,12 ve termal büyüme katsayısı 21,7°C’de
su sıcaklığında 2,21 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Elde
edilen sonuçlara göre sarıağız balığının İlkbahar-Yaz döneminde toprak
havuzlarda 6 -7 ay gibi kısa bir sürede iyi bir yem dönüşüm ve spesifik büyüme
oranı ile porsiyonluk boya eriştiğini göstermektedir.

Investigating some growth parameters of pond-raised meagre (Argyrosomus regius, Asso 1801) at industrial scale

Öz

During
a production period, growth and feeding parameters of meagre (Argyrosomus regius Asso 1801) was
investigated. Meagre has been produced in marine cages and recently, shows
increasing production volume in Europe and Turkey. The study was carried out with
13.2 ± 1.4 g starting mean weight 15400 juveniles in an earthen ponds belong to
ASC Su Ürünleri Ltd. in Savran region of Milas town of Muğla Province and were
used. Feeding trial had done between 15th of March and 15 of October,
2012. At the end of study, mean weight of fish were found 301.03 ± 27.02 g, specific
growth rate was found 1.19, feed conservation ratio was found 1.12 and thermal
growth coefficient was found 2.21 at 21.7°C water temperature. The results of this
study showed that meagre has a good specific growth rate and thermal growth
coefficient that it can be produce in earthen ponds between spring and summer
seasons in a short production period such a 6-7 months.
