Kullanıma Hazır Kalsiyum Silikat Esaslı Simanlar: Genel Bakış

Year 2024, Volume: 10 Issue: 1, 65 - 75, 17.04.2024

Abstract

Son yıllarda geliştirilen ve ek bir ön hazırlık gerektirmeden uygulanma imkanı tanıyan kullanıma hazır kalsiyum silikat esaslı simanlar, antibakteriyel aktiviteleri ve sızdırmazlık kabiliyetleri sebebiyle diş hekimliğinin birçok alanında kullanılmaktadır. Kalsiyum silikat esaslı simanların temas ettikleri diş sert dokularına biyoaktif özellik göstermeleri ve nem varlığında sertleşip stabilleşmeleri endodontik tedavilerde kullanımının avantajları arasında sayılabilmektedir. Kolay manüpüle edilebilmeleri, ek bir ön hazırlık gerektirmemesi sebebiyle çapraz kontaminasyon riskini azaltmaları, ihtiyaç olunan alan kadar kullanılarak israfın önüne geçilebilmesi gibi klinikte kullanım avantajları bulunmaktadır. Bu derleme kullanıma hazır kalsiyum silikat esaslı simanları incelemek ve piyasada bulunan güncel kullanıma hazır kalsiyum silikat simanların özelliklerinin karşılaştırmasını amaçlamaktadır.
