Alveolar Ridge Preservation Due to Early Tooth Loss and Tooth Agenesis

Abstract

Maintaining the healthy dentition of individuals is a priority for dentists for health, aesthetics and function. However, in some cases, tooth extraction is inevitable. In growing children, dental implant applications are postponed to later ages. Unfortunately resorption of the alveolar bone negatively affects the feasibility and prognosis of the treatments to be performed. In this seminar, the procedures to protect the alveolar bone for the future rehabilitation of individuals who lost their teeth during the growth and development period are included.

Erken Diş Kaybı ve Diş Eksikliğinde Alveolar Kemiğin Korunması

Abstract

Bireylerin sağlıklı dentisyonunun korunması sağlık, estetik ve fonksiyon açısından diş hekimleri için önceliklidir. Ancak bazı durumlarda diş çekimi kaçınılmaz olmaktadır. Büyüme gelişimi devam eden bireylerde dental implant uygulamaları ileriki yaşlara ertelenmekte, ancak alveol kemiğin rezorpsiyonu yapılacak tedavilerin uygulanabilirliğini ve prognozunu olumsuz etkilemektedir. Bu seminerde büyüme gelişim döneminde diş kaybı yaşayan bireylerin ileriki dönemde rehabilitasyonu için alveolar kemiği korumaya yönelik yapılan işlemlerden bahsedilecektir.
