Glütensiz Diyet Multiple Skleroz Hastalığında Etkili Olabilir Mi? Mini Bir Derleme

Abstract

Multiple Skleroz patofizyolojisi ve etiyolojisi karmaşık olan merkezi sinir sisteminin nörodejeneratif bir hastalığıdır. Beslenme alışkanlıklarının hastalığın seyri üzerinde etkisi olduğu düşünülmektedir. Multiple Skleroz hastalarında glüten duyarlılığının prevalansında bir artış olduğuna dair yeterli kanıt bulunmamaktadır. Bununla beraber Multiple Skleroz hastaları arasında glütensiz diyet modelleri popüler olarak genel popülasyondan daha fazla uygulanmaktadır. Multiple Skleroz’da glütensiz diyetin olumlu etkisini gösteren çalışmaların yanı sıra etkisiz olduğunu gösteren çalışmalar da mevcuttur. Multiple Skleroz ile glüten ilişkisi henüz aydınlatılamamıştır ve otoriteler şu anda Multiple Skleroz tedavisi için glütensiz bir diyet modelini öneri olarak vermemektedir. Multiple Skleroz’da glütensiz bir diyet modelini önermek için yapılan çalışmalar yetersizdir ve veriler içinde tutarsızlıklar vardır.
