CERRAHİDE ERGOOFTALMOLOJİ VE ERGOOFTALMOLOJİK BİR YAKLAŞIM GÖZ KAPAĞI HİJYENİ

Abstract

Ergonomi, insanlar ve bir sistemin diğer unsurları arasındaki etkileşimlerin anlaşılmasıyla ilgili bir disiplindir. Günümüzde bilginin hızlı yayılımı, yeni teknolojiler ve ürünlerle birlikte ergonomik endişeler de giderek artmaktadır. Görsel ergonomi ve mikro çevre koşullarını da konu edinen ergooftalmoloji, işyerlerinde görme ve oküler rahatsızlığı anlamak, önlemek ve yönetmek için multidisipliner bir yaklaşım olarak ifade edilmektedir. Hastaneler oküler yapılar ve görme kalitesini etkileyen ısı, nem, aydınlatma, havalandırma, çeşitli gazlar, çeşitli kimyasallar, radyasyon gibi çok sayıda mesleki risk barındırmaktadır. Bu riskler aynı zamanda ergooftalmolojinin konusudur. Yapılan çalışmalarında bilgisayar kullanımı, aydınlatma, görüş pozisyonunun fiziksel etkilerinin ele alındığı ofis çalışanları öne çıkmaktadır. Cerrahide ergonomi çalışmalarında ise genellikle uzun süre ayakta kalma ve minimal invaziv girişim ile artan kas iskelet sistemi sorunları ele alınırken ergooftalmoloji yeteri kadar ilgi görmemiştir. Benzer şekilde cerrahide görsel ergonomik risklerin tanımlanması ve görsel konforu arttırmaya yönelik müdahalelerin ele alındığı çalışmalarda sınırlıdır. Günümüzde sıcak uygulama, masaj ve temizlik aşamalarından oluşan günlük göz kapağı hijyeni göz sağlığını koruyucu ve geliştirici bir uygulama olarak önerilmektedir. Bu derlemede cerrahide bir disiplin olarak ergooftalmolojiye ve ergooftalmolojik bir yaklaşım olarak göz kapağı hijyenine dikkat çekmek amaçlanmıştır.
