Cyber ​​Security and Digital Economy Journal is a platform that aims to share innovative and academic studies in the fields of cyber security and digital economy. The journal focuses on topics such as cyber threats, secure software development, blockchain technologies, financial technologies, artificial intelligence-supported economy and e-commerce, and aims to present scientific and technical developments in these fields to its readers. In addition, by supporting interdisciplinary research, it includes studies that address the legal, social and technical dimensions at the intersection of cyber security and digital economy. In addition to academic research, the journal also includes sectoral analyses and aims to encourage information sharing between universities, private sector and public institutions. In addition, it aims to raise awareness on data privacy, ethics and policy making by discussing national and international regulations related to cyber security and digital economy. In this respect, the journal aims to be a valuable resource for academics, researchers, sector professionals and policy makers.

Cyber ​​Security and Digital Economy Journal (CDEJ) includes academic and sectoral studies focusing on cyber security, digital economy and the intersections of these fields. The journal;

are covered. It also includes research on legal, ethical and political regulations in these areas. The journal provides a platform that supports interdisciplinary knowledge sharing for academics, researchers and industry professionals.

Articles to be submitted to the journal must be prepared in accordance with scientific and academic writing rules. Studies must be original and have not been published elsewhere before. Articles must be written in Times New Roman font, 10 point size and 1.5 line spacing. References must be arranged in accordance with APA format and in-text citation system must be used. Submitted articles will be accepted if they are deemed suitable for publication after the preliminary evaluation and referee process.

  • All articles sent to Düzce University Cyber ​​Security and Digital Economy Journal for evaluation must be submitted in accordance with the writing template and the rules written here. Articles that do not comply with this are returned to the author for re-editing. The writing template should be downloaded from the relevant link and edited.
  • Header and article information sections should not be interfered with.
  • Times New Roman font should be used throughout the article.
  • The title of the article should be written in Times New Roman, 12 point, italic and maximum 30 words.
  • The abstract should be at least 150 and maximum 200 words and should be prepared in Times New Roman, 10 point.
  • Keywords should be at most 5, should be listed alphabetically and should be written in Times New Roman, 10 point italic.
  • Text paragraph indentation should not be used.
  • Figures should be numbered and figure titles should be given centered under the figure. Figure titles should be Times New Roman 8 point.
  • Tables should be numbered and table titles should be given centered above the table. Table titles should be Times New Roman 8 point.
    Page numbers, headers and footers should not be used.
  • If there is an institution or organization that needs to be thanked, it should be stated in the Acknowledgement section. This section should not be numbered.

    A similarity report must be obtained for all articles submitted for evaluation in our journal.

The Journal of Cyber ​​Security and Digital Economics is based on compliance with ethical rules in scientific research and observes the highest academic and ethical standards during the publication process. Articles submitted to the journal are checked with plagiarism detection software and necessary precautions are taken against ethical violations.

All authors must adhere to the principle of academic honesty in their work and ensure the accuracy of the data in their research. Authors should not include people who have not contributed to the study as authors, and should indicate everyone who has contributed to the study. In addition, situations where there is a conflict of interest should be clearly stated.

Ethical Responsibilities of Authors:

  • Articles submitted for evaluation should not have been evaluated and/or published elsewhere. Submitting the same article to more than one journal at the same time is an unethical publishing situation.
  • Quoted texts should be indicated by citing the source.
  • Authors of the article submitted for evaluation declare that they have not committed any plagiarism, that the article is their own original work, that all responsibilities and ethical violations arising from plagiarism belong to them, and that the journal has no responsibility in this regard.
  • All authors who contributed to the article submitted for evaluation should be stated and it should be known that all the authors mentioned have equal responsibility for the article. The responsible author represents all authors in the evaluation process regarding the article. In addition, all authors accept that they have authorized the responsible author to be responsible for all sections of the article on their behalf.
  • Authors are responsible for declaring all institutions that support the work they submit, all financial resources or situations where there is a conflict of interest.
    Access to the data included in the article should be provided if deemed necessary. Authors are deemed to have declared that they will fulfill these obligations in the study submitted for evaluation.
  • For publications that require copyright, permission documents should be specified and/or references should be made by showing the source for all situations such as copyright rules, legal/special permissions, permission documents belonging to others, photographs, tables, scales, etc. for copyright-related publications.
  • The referee evaluation process is based on the principle of double-blind refereeing; during this process, referees and authors do not know each other's identities. Referees should be objective and impartial during the evaluation process and adhere to the principle of confidentiality.

    Ethical Responsibilities of Referees:
  • Referees are responsible for not evaluating the article and reporting this situation in case of a conflict of interest or relationship with the study and/or authors.
  • Referees are responsible for keeping the studies they receive confidential and cannot use the information they obtain from the refereeing process for their personal interests.
  • Referees keep all processes from the acceptance stage of the article to the publication process confidential and cannot use or share the information and documents obtained.
    Referees are responsible for reporting all unethical situations related to the study to the editor.
  • No personal criticism should be made about the authors, and evaluations should avoid individual feelings and thoughts and should use an impartial, honest, polite and constructive language by taking into account scientific principles and fundamentals.
  • Referees should take care not to let the personal information of the authors (gender, nationality, religious beliefs, political views, etc.) that carry out the study affect the scientific evaluation during the article evaluation process and should be aware that they are legally responsible for the situation.
  • The journal adopts an open access policy and all published articles are offered for free access. In addition, the intellectual property rights of all published works are respected in accordance with international academic publishing standards.

    In case of detection of ethical violations, the journal acts in accordance with the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines and implements the necessary correction, retraction or sanction processes.
