Abstract

Amaç: Diş Hekimliği Fakülteleri özelinde öğrencilerinin okul imkân ve olanaklar hakkındaki düşüncelerinin tespit edilerek eğitim kalitesini arttırmak amacıyla yapılabilecek müdahalelerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki çalışmanın verileri Eylül 2022 – Şubat 2023 tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini Burdur ve Isparta ilinde eğitim gören Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi 1. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen soru formuyla veriler toplanmış, tanımlayıcı ölçütler olarak frekans, yüzde ve ortalamalar kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin %42,4’ü okuldaki sosyal faaliyetleri olumsuz, %78,3’ü fiziki şartları, %89,7’si eğitim kalitesini, %81,1’i okul idaresinin ilgisini olumlu olarak değerlendirmiştir. Öğrencilere yapılması istenen faaliyet ve projeler konusundaki talepleri sorulduğunda sportif ve kültürel etkinlikler ve meslekleri ile ilgili konferans, panel düzenlenmesi talep edilmiştir. Sonuç: Öğrencilerin taleplerinin sosyal, fiziksel ve akademik gelişimlerini desteklemek yönünde olduğu görülmektedir. Üniversite yönetimlerinin temel eğitim programlarının yanı sıra bu talepleri de göz önüne almalarının bölümlerin tercih edilebilirliğini artırabileceği düşünülmüştür.

Determination Of The Satisfaction Level Of Faculty Of Dentistry Students About School Opportunities

Abstract

Aim: It is aimed to determine the opinions of the students about the school facilities and opportunities
in the Faculty of Dentistry and to determine the interventions that can be made to increase the quality
of education. Materials and Methods: The data of the descriptive study were collected between
September 2022 and February 2023. The population of the study consists of 1st year students of
the Faculty of Dentistry studying in Burdur and Isparta. Data were collected with a questionnaire
developed by the researchers, and frequencies, percentages and averages were used as descriptive
criteria. Results: 42.4% of the students evaluated the social activities at school negatively, 78.3%
evaluated the physical conditions, 89.7% evaluated the quality of education, and 81.1% evaluated the
interest of the school administration positively. When the students were asked about the activities
and projects they wanted to do, they were asked to organize conferences and panels about sports
and cultural activities and their professions. Conclusion: It is seen that the demands of the students
are to support their social, physical and academic development. It is thought that the university
administrations' consideration of these demands in addition to the basic education programs may
increase the preferability of the departments.
