IŞIK KİRLİLİĞİNİN KUŞ GÖÇÜ ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİLERİ

Year 2023, Volume: 6 Issue: 12, 4 - 18, 30.12.2023

Abstract

Effects of Light Pollution on Bird Migration

Year 2023, Volume: 6 Issue: 12, 4 - 18, 30.12.2023

Abstract

The intensity of artificial light has increased in the last century, changing the behavior and ecological features of wild species. This threat arising from human activities significantly affects the quality of bird
migration and causes the death of many animals. Despite the importance of this issue, relevant research and solution measures are still lacking. In this review article, the mysteries of seasonal migration of birds and the effects of artificial light pollution on this journey are examined.
