The study was conducted to determine cultivation, weed control knowledge and experiences and weed problem level of producers in the wheat cultivation fields in Uşak. It was carried out by conducting one-to-one interviews with 103 producers at the end of 2019 wheat vegetation period and the survey questions prepared in advance were asked. As a result of the survey, it was stated that the educational status of the producers was generally at primary school level. During the interviews with producers, they stated that the yield loss was a restrictive factor, and the weed species causing problem were Avena barbata Pott ex Lınk subsp. barbata (slender wild oat), Sinapis arvensis L. (wild mustard), Bifora radians Bieb. (wild bishop), and Convolvulus arvensis L. (bindweed). It was determined that there was a significant correlation between wheat cultivation area and the perception on the fact that weed was an important problem among the plant protection problems in weed control. It was found that they preferred herbicides in weed control and especially used them against broad-leaved weeds and they had the lack of knowledge in the grass weeds. They stated that they generally bought and used the herbicides based on the recommendations of the agricultural engineers working in the institution from which they bought them.
