DNA Dizilemenin Tarihsel Gelişimi

Öz

Nükleik asit dizi analizi, çok çeşitli araştırma
uygulamalarının ayrılmaz bir bileşenidir. Son 50 yıl boyunca araştırıcıların
çoğu DNA ve RNA moleküllerinin dizi analizlerini gerçekleştiren teknik ve
teknolojilerin üretilmesi için çaba harcamıştır. Bu süreçte küçük boyutlu
moleküllerin dizilenmesinden tüm genomun dizilenmesine kadar uzanan çok büyük
gelişmeler olmuştur. Bu makalede belirtilen zaman aralığında DNA dizilemenin
temelini oluşturan önemli gelişmeler, dizilemede kullanılan tekniklerin ve
teknolojilerin ortaya çıkışı ve gelişmeleri açıklanmaktadır.
