Herniation Of Tibialis Anterior Muscle: MRI Findings

Öz

The tibialis anterior muscle herniation has been the frequently seen muscle herniation at the lower extremity. In this study, it is intended to present the MRI diagnosis of a patient who has tibialis anterior muscle herniation by examining the literature. The detailed right cruris MRI investigation was done to a patient, 49 years old and applied with complaints a pain at right leg continuing for two years and like a mass can be feeled by palpation. Right tibialis anterior muscle herniation was determined by the cruris MRI. Muscle herniation may be either asymptomatic or subcutaneous nodul, complaints like a change of the skin color or a pain at the related region. Anterior tibialis muscle herniation should be distinguished from soft tissue pathologies like varicosis, lipoma, angiolipoma or fibroma.

Tibialis Anterior Kası Herniasyonu: MRG Bulguları

Öz

Tibialis anterior kası herniasyonu alt ekstremitede en sık rastlanan kas herniasyonudur. Bu çalışmada tibialis anterior kası herniasyonu olan bir olgunun MRG bulgularını literatürü gözden geçirerek sunmayı amaçladık. 49 yaşında erkek hasta sağ bacakta iki yıldır devam eden ağrı ve ele gelen kitle şikayetleriyle başvuran hastaya sağ kruris MRG tetkiki yapıldı. Yapılan kruris MRG’de sağ tibialis anterior kası herniasyonu saptandı. Kas herniasyonu asemptomatik olabileceği gibi subkutanöz nodül, ilgili bölgede deri renginde değişim ya da ağrı şikayetiyle gelebilir. Anterior tibialis kası herniasyonu, lipom, anjiyolipom, fibrom, ya da varis gibi yumuşak doku patolojilerinden ayırt edilmelidir.
