The second section entails drama translation theories and applications in translation studies. The third part is an overview of the difficulties in drama translation, as well as a discussion of the major concepts used by translators to guide them in the translation process. The fourth section provides information about the choice of text to translate, the translation process itself, and the role and function of the translator in the rehearsal and staging processes. In this section, the focus is on how a translator can find a play to translate, procure the translation copyrights, what the translator should keep in mind when deciding to translate a play. Following a brief section on the translation process, the experiences and information concerning the status and role of the translator in the staging of two plays are detailed.
