Psikolojik danışmanların ve psikolojik danışmanlık öğrencilerinin yaşam ve mesleki değerleri

Öz

Bu araştırmada psikolojik danışmanlar ile psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik öğrencilerinin yaşam ve mesleki değerleri incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmaya 195 lisans öğrencisi ve 112 psikolojik danışman olmak üzere toplam 307 kişi katılmıştır. Araştırmada, revize edilmiş Super Mesleki Değerler Envanteri ve Rokeach’ın Değerler Listesi ölçme aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, psikolojik danışmanlık öğrencilerinin en önemli mesleki değerlerinin yaşam biçimi, başarı ve bağımsızlık değerleri, yaşam değerleri açısından incelendiğinde, amaçsal değerlerin iç huzuru, kendine saygı, ve aile güvenliği değerleri, araçsal değerler açısından ise dürüstlük, bağımsızlık ve sorumluluk değerlerinin önemli değerler olduğu görülmüştür. Psikolojik danışmanların ise en önemli mesleki değerlerinin yaşam biçimi, başarı ve yaratıcılık, en önemli amaçsal değerlerinin iç huzuru, mutluluk ve aile güvenliği değerleri, araçsal değerlerin ise dürüstlük, bağımsızlık ve sorumluluk değerleri olduğu bulunmuştur.

Counsellor and counsellor students’ life and work values

Öz

This study examines the life and work values that students in counseling and guidance programs are intended to learn. Participants involved 195 undergraduate students and 112 counselors that comprised a total of 307. This research used Super's Work Values Inventory-Revised and Rokeach’s list of values. The results found the students maintained that the most important work values were lifestyle, achievement, and independence, also they believed the most important intrinsic values were inner-harmony, self-respect, and family security, and instrumental values of honesty, independence, and responsibility. The counselors stated that the most important work values were lifestyle, achievement, and creativity, at the same time the most important intrinsic values were inner harmony, self-respect, and family security, and instrumental values of honesty, independence, and responsibility.
