The purpose of this
study is to adapt the “Self-Efficacy in Romantic Relationships Scale”, which
was developed by Riggio and Weiser, Valenzuela, Lui, Montes and Heur
(2011), into Turkish culture and conduct its validity and
reliability study. The study was carried out with a total of 367 students (243
girls and 124 boys), including senior students attending various departments
and receiving pedagogical formation education in Dokuz Eylul University Faculty
of Education. The two-factor structure of the SERRS was tested with
confirmatory factor analysis method. The results showed that the two-factor
structure of the SERRS was confirmed. The language validity of the scale was
also examined. In addition, “General Self-Efficacy Scale” was used as criterion
to determine the concurrent validity of the scale. The reliability of the SERRS
was calculated with test-retest reliability coefficient and internal
consistency coefficient methods. The results show that the SERRS can be used as
a valid and reliable measurement tool.

Romantik İlişkilerde Öz Yeterlik Ölçeği Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Riggio ve Weiser,
Valenzuela, Lui, Montes ve Heur (2011) tarafından geliştirilen “Romantik
İlişkilerde Öz Yeterlik Ölçeği”ni (RİÖYÖ) Türk kültürüne uyarlayarak, geçerlik
ve güvenirlik çalışmasını yapmaktır. Araştırma, Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi’nde
Eğitim Fakültesi’nin çeşitli bölümlerine devam eden lisans 4. sınıf öğrencileri
ile pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan 243’ü kız ve 124’ü erkek olmak üzere
toplam 367 kişi ile yürütülmüştür. RİÖYÖ’nin iki faktörlü yapısı doğrulayıcı
faktör analizi yöntemi ile test edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, RİÖYÖ’nin iki
faktörlü yapısının doğrulandığını göstermiştir. Bununla birlikte ölçeğin dil
geçerliği de incelenmiştir. Ayrıca ölçeğin benzer
ölçek geçerliğini belirlemek için “Genel Öz Yeterlik Ölçeği” ölçüt olarak
kullanılmıştır Ölçeğin güvenirlik çalışması, test-tekrar test güvenirlik
katsayısı ve iç tutarlılık katsayısı ile hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar,
RİÖYÖ’nin geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olarak kullanılabileceğini
göstermektedir.
