Prematür ejakülasyonda güncel tedavi yaklaşımları

Öz

ÖZET

Prematür ejakülasyon (PE) erkek cinsel sağlığında en sık karşılaşılan ve hayat kalitesini önemli derecede etkileyen bir hastalıktır. Patofizylojisinin net olarak anlaşılmaması tanı ve tedavi güçlüğüne neden olmaktadır. Bu eksikliklere rağmen hekimler, hastalarını  kılavuzlara göre PE ile teşhis etmeye ve bunlara davranış terapileri veya etiket dışı ilaçlarla tedavi etmeye devam ediyorlar. Tedavinin temelini topikal anestezikler ve seçici seratonin geri alım inhibitörleri oluşturmaktadır. Dapoksetin de güçlü bir seçici seratonin geri alım inhibitörü olmasına rağmen tedavisinde isteğe bağlı kullanım için dizayn edilmiştir. Bu derlemede, PE tedavisindeki özellikle güncel yaklaşımlar literatür eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.
