Cuticular Morphohogy of The Anoplius viaticus (Hymenoptera: Pompilidae) Collected From Different Altitudes of Kars Plateau

Yıl 2017, Cilt: 10 Sayı: 2, 286 - 295, 31.12.2017

Öz

In this
study we collected various samples of Anoplius
viaticus
(Pompilidae: Hymenoptera) from different locations found at
different altitudes in Kars (1850 m), in Iğdır (1400 m) and on Allahuekber
Mountains (2800 m) and photographed them under the electron microscope. We
investigated and discussed the differences in cuticle and morphology of the
samples taken from various altitudes. We observed that as the altitude gets
higher, there is an increase in coverage of hair found on the head, antenna,
thorax, and abdomen.
