The Term Of ‘Time’ In Work Relations As A Dynamic And Changing Concept

Yıl 2014, Cilt: 6 Sayı: 10, 124 - 142, 05.08.2014

Öz

The Relations of Labour is one of the most significant determiners of the humans’ happiness, welfare and the community oriented peace. Looking at the dynamic aspect of the work in the historical period, two major concepts can be taken into account, the first of which is the Industrial Revolution in which the labour is associated with the strength of muscle and the industrial places, in other words, the factories initially, and secondly the Revolution of Knowledge in which the working hour turned into the natural cycle of its own in the period of pre-industry and in which the labour is associated with knowledge. The working time that converts into a routine and rhythmic concept by means of Industrial Revolution and secondly the Knowledge Revolution that the time for working converts into the natural structure and in which the labour is considered with knowledge itself. The time for working which takes the role of routine and rhythmic case in the period of Industrial Revolution turns into a concept which is free from particular place and time in the period of post industry. To put more explicitly, working time has become absolutely free from its particular time and place concept confined in industrial period and has become natural as well. The main subject of the article is to analyze the main principles of working time with causes and effects and to reveal the fundamental dynamics of this situational framework.
