Öz

Spinal anesthesia provides sensorial and motor blockage with administration of small amounts of local anesthetics to the subarachnoid space; this technique is commonly used. Some complications may occur, depending on the method of spinal anesthesia and anesthetic agents. One of the most common neurological complications is radiculopathy caused by intrathecal anesthesia. In this case report, we aimed to present the therapeutic approach of a patient with low back pain, including neuropathic components, after spinal anesthesia

Öz

Spinal anestezi subaraknoid aralığa düşük doz lokal anestezik enjeksiyonu ile hızlı ve derin duyu ve motor blok oluşturması nedeniyle klinik olarak sık kullanılan bir tekniktir. Spinal anestezi uygulamalarında yönteme ve anestezik maddelere bağlı olarak bir takım komplikasyonlar görülebilmektedir. İntratekal anestezi uygulamalarının neden olduğu nörolojik komplikasyonlar arasında en sık görüleni ise radikülopatilerdir. Bu olgu sunumunda spinal anestezi sonrası meydana gelen ve uzun süredir geçmeyen ve nöropatik komponentler içeren bel ağrısı şikayeti ile başvuran hastaya uyguladığımız tedavi yaklaşımını sunmayı amaçladık.
