ENHANCING PROCUREMENT DECISIONS THROUGH EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP: A CASE OF LIBYAN MINISTRY OF DEFENCE

Öz

Purpose-
This study is designed to propose values for
enhancing procurement decisions. The proposed values are
leadership
commitment and leadership communication.

Methodology-
This research adopted quantitative
research approach to analyze the data obtained from the questionnaire
distributed to the employees in the Libyan Ministry of Defence.
A
total of 450 employees in the Libyan Ministry of Defence
were randomly selected.
Multiple regression analysis was used to test the relationship between
independent variables and dependent variable.

Findings-
It is found that leadership commitment and
leadership communication influenced the efficiency of procurement staff
significantly.







Conclusion- The practical
implications are the discovery of theoretical, personal, and workplace
practical best practices for the establishment of strategies for enhancing
procurement decisions in procurement management and contract.

Ethics Policy - RJBM applies the standards of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). RJBM is committed to the academic community ensuring ethics and quality of manuscripts in publications. Plagiarism is strictly forbidden and the manuscripts found to be plagiarized will not be accepted or if published will be removed from the publication. Authors must certify that their manuscripts are their original work.
