Covid-19 Pandemisinin Halk Sağlığı Bilişimine Yansımaları

Öz

Bu inceleme Covid-19 pandemisinin halk sağlığı bilişimine yansımalarını ortaya koymak ve konuyla ilgili farkındalık oluşturmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. İnceleme halk sağlığı bilişiminin gelişimi ve Covid-19’un pandemi olarak ilan edildiği 2020 yılını da kapsayacak şekilde 1978-2022 yılları arasında sınırlandırılmıştır. Veri tabanlarında “Coronavirus”, “Covid-19”, “Pandemi” ve “Halk Sağlığı Bilişimi” anahtar kelimeler elektronik olarak taranmıştır. Yapılan tarama sonucunda kullanılan veri tabanlarını içeren 3 ulusal ve 5 uluslararası makaleye ulaşılmış olup konuya ilişkin sınırlı çalışma olduğu için herhangi bir dışlanma yapılmadan ulaşılan makaleler incelemeye dahil edilmiştir. Dahil edilme kriterlerini karşılayan makalelerin incelenmesi sonucunda Covid-19 pandemisinin halk sağlığı bilişimine yansımalarının olduğu görülmüştür. Bu süreçte her bir ülke kendine özgü halk sağlığı bilişim araçlarından yararlanmıştır. Halk sağlığı bilişim sistemini iyi kullanan ülkeler pandemi yönetiminde başarılı olan ülkeler arasında gösterilirken, iyi kullanamayan ülkeler başarılı olamayan ülkeler arasında gösterilmiştir. Ülkemizde “Hayat Eve Sığar”, RUHSAD, Merkezi Hekim Randevu Sistemi (MHRS), SABİM, FİTAS, vb. uygulamalar pandemi yönetiminde rol almıştır. Halk sağlığı hemşireleri bu süreçte çeşitli halk sağlığı bilişim sistemlerini kullanarak topluma eğitim, bakım ve tedavi hizmetleri sunan hemşireler, salgının etkilerini en aza indirmek için aktif bir rol oynamışlardır. İncelemeler neticesinde; toplumun sağlığının korunması ve geliştirilmesi, gereken tedbirlerin alınması, toplumun bilgilendirilmesi amacıyla her ülkenin kendi politikalarına uygun halk sağlığı bilişim sistemlerini hazırlayıp kullanması gerekliliği ve önemi anlaşılmıştır.

Reflections of Covid-19 Pandemic on Public Health Informatics

Öz

This review was conducted to reveal the reflections of the Covid-19 pandemic on public health informatics and to raise awareness on the subject. It is limited to the years 1978-2022, including the development of public health informatics and the year 2020 when Covid-19 was declared a pandemic. The keywords “Coronavirus”, “Covid-19”, “Pandemic” and “Public Health Informatics” were search in the databases. As a result of the search 3 national and 5 international articles containing the databases used were found, and since there are limited studies on the subject, all of the articles were included in the study without any exclusion. As a result of examining the articles that met the inclusion criteria, it was seen that the Covid-19 pandemic had reflections on public health informatics. In this process, each country has benefited from its own public health informatics tools. While countries that use the public health information system well are shown among the countries that are successful in pandemic management, countries that don’t use it well are shown among the countries that are unsuccessful. In our country, “Hayat Eve Sığar”, RUHSAD, Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS), SABİM, FİTAS, etc. applications have played a role in pandemic management. Public health nurses, who provide education, care and treatment services to the community by using various public health information systems, played an active role in minimizing the effects of the epidemic. As a result of the investigations; The necessity and importance of each country to prepare and use public health information systems in accordance with its own policies in order to protect and improve the health of the society, to take the necessary precautions, and to inform the society is understood.
