Bu
yazıda adanın bir düşünce imgesi olarak nasıl kullanılabileceğini, Deleuze ve
Kant felsefelerindeki bazı temaları açımlayarak araştırmayı amaçlıyorum. Ada
imgesini karanın bir uzantısı olmaktan çıkararak açık bütün mefhumunun düşünsel
uzamı olarak yeniden tanımlayacağım. Bunun için Kant’ın Saf Aklın Eleştirisi’ndeki çok özel bir pasajı, Deleuze’ün iki ada
yorumunu ve Kant okumalarını inceleyeceğim. Fakat adayı bir metafor olarak değil; tam tersine,
düşüncenin yer-yurdunu kara-su ikileminin ötesine taşımak için gerekli olan maddi ve topolojik unsur olarak ele
alacağım. Son olarak, yirmi birinci yüzyıl felsefesinin karşısına bir sorun
olarak çıkan düşüncenin kapanması riskine karşı, ada imgesinden takımada
imgesine doğru bir geçişin haritasını çıkarmaya çalışacağım.

Deleuze, Kant and Island

Öz

In this text, I aim to seek how might one employ
the island as an image of thought by disclosing some theme in the philosophies
of Deleuze and Kant. I will redefine the image of island as the intellectual
space for the concept of open whole by means of removing that image to be an
appendage of land. For that purpose, I will examine a very specific passage in
Kant’s Critique of Pure Reason and
Deleuze’s interpretation of two islands as well as his readings of Kant.
However, I will consider the island not as a metaphor but as the material
and topological element which is required to carry the territory of thought
beyond the land-water dichotomy. Finally, I will try to map the passage from
the image of island to that of archipelago against the risk of closure of
thought with which the philosophy of twenty-first century encounters as a
problem.
