Öz

Ağ analizi
yöntemleri sosyal bilimlerin birçok alanındaki araştırmalarda
önemi bir katkı potansiyeli içermektedir. Bu makalede ağ analizi
yaklaşımının özellikleri ve olası katkıları özetlenmektedir.
Sosyal sistemlerin incelenmesi için ağ analizi yaklaşımı bileşen
odaklı analiz yaklaşımlarının tamamlayıcısı olarak
konumlandırılmaktadır. Bu yaklaşımın ve ilgili yöntemlerin
açıklayıcı potansiyeli gerek literatür gerekse örnekler
üzerinden sergilenmektedir. Ağ analizi için analiz konusu olgunun
odaklanması, verilerin toplanması, ve bu verilerden üretilebilecek
temel metriklerin özgün anlamları incelenmektedir.
