Adiyaman University Journal of Educational Sciences (AUJES), is the flagship journal of Adiyaman University, featuring scholarly articles that advance the international education research community through empirical, theoretical, and methodological means. AUJES publishes original peer-reviewed works that span the field of education research across broad subfields, disciplines, and analytic methods. It also invites submissions across all levels of education and learning, broadly defined, within formal and informal learning contexts and throughout the life-span. AUJES welcomes submissions of high quality, and seeks a broad variety that reflects a wide range of perspectives, topics, contexts, and methods, including interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary work.

  • Candidate articles sent to the journal should not have been published elsewhere or sent for publication. The articles should be prepared in accordance with the publication format of the APA'6 Publication Manual (http://www.apa.org).
  • The articles can be written in Turkish or English.In each article, there must be abstracts written in Turkish and English, each of which should be at least 150 and at most 250 words, should be given in the form of the sample publication. The title of the article should be short and should not exceed 15 words. In addition, 3 to 5 keywords and Key Words must be given.
  • In the articles written in Turkish language, an extended summary should be given short English abstract, between 600 - 1000 words followed by 5 main topics (Purpose, Method, Results, Discussion, Conclusion). Short and wide Turkish abstracts are not required in the articles written in English.
  • Articles published in Turkish (except for abstract and extended summary) must not exceed 8000 words. If the publication is in English, the entire article should not exceed 8000 words.
  • Problem situation should be clearly stated in the introduction of the research articles. The introduction should followed by the method, findings, discussion and conclusion sections respectively. Section titles in essay-review articles should be determined according to the content.
  • The page margins should be set to A4 size with a 2.5 cm gap and the pages should not be numbered.
  • Abstract should be written in Arial font, 10 points, single line spacing, specified in the journal template.
  • Article titles should be centered and written using 14 point font and Arial font.
  • All informations in the footnote should be written in Arial font, 9 point, single line.
  • Section headings should be written in Arial font using 12 point font and text centered.
  • For Extended Abstract, the headings should be written using 11 points of the Arial font, and the text should be centered. The text should be written in Arial font, 11 points, 1.5 lines.
  • The main text should be written in bold, with a font of Arial font, 12 points and a spacing of 1.15 lines.
  • The number and title of the tables must be given and tables should be in places where text should be found. The table number and names should be given just above the table with Arial, 12 point and borders.
  • The figure numbers and names should be centered just below the figure.
  • Images should be scanned in high resolution, print quality at the locations in the text. In image naming, the rules should be followed.
  • The citations in a few sentences in the text are 1 cm from the right and left. It should be written inside.
  • It is required that the articles are prepared in accordance with the ADYUEBD template and that the author names and addresses should be uploaded to the system without being written in the article text.
