Öz

In this study, the description of the male of Atractides gracilipes (Angelier, 1951) which is new record for the Turkish water mites fauna are given for first time based on the drawings and measurements of various body organs. In addition, its zoogeographic distribution was present.

Türkiye Su Kenesi (Acari,Hydrachnidia) Faunası İçin Yeni Bir Tür; Atractides gracilipes (Angelier, 1951)

Öz

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye su kenesi faunası için yeni
kayıt olan Atractides gracilipes
türünün erkek bireyinin yapısal özellikleri, çeşitli vücut organlarının
şekilleri, ölçümleri ve zoocoğrafik dağılımı verilmiştir.Türkiye’den şimdiye kadar 25 familya, 58 cins ve 310 su kenesi türü kaydedilmiştir. Erman et al. (2010)’daki kontrol listelerinde 236 türün verildiği ve son 5 yılda 70 türün daha kaydedildiği (Aşçı et al. 2014a; 2014b, Boyacı ve Gülle 2014, Gülle et al. 2013; 2015, Esen ve Erman 2015a, Esen and Erman 2015b, Koç et al. 2015) dikkate alındığında ülkemiz su kenesi faunasının ne kadar zengin olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Atractides' in Koch, 1837 türleri, Avustralya ve Antarktika dışındaki tüm biyocoğrafya alanlarında gözlemlenir (Gerecke 2003, Cook 1974). Çoğu tür yalnızca iyi korunmuş substratı olan temiz sularda bulunur, bu nedenle birçok insan etkisine karşı duyarlıdır
