Öz
Özet: Geçiş ekonomilerinde ‘yeni özel sektör gelişimi’ ekonomik
büyümenin kaynağını oluşturmaktadır. Ampirik veriler, geçiş sürecinde
büyümenin başlayabilmesi için toplam istihdam içinde ‘yeni özel sektör’ ün
payının %40 dolaylarında olması gerektiğini göstermektedir. ‘Yeni özel sektör’
Doğu Avrupa Ülkelerinde Bağımsız Devletler Topluluğu ülkelerinden daha hızlı
gelişmiştir.

Abstract: In Transition economies, ‘new private sector development’
is source of growth. Ampirical evidence suggests that new enterprices must
reach a threshold of around 40 percent in their contribution to employment
before they can become an engine of growth. Performance of ‘new private
sector development’ in Eastern European countries is better than that in
Countries of Independent States.
