Information to Authors


The journal Journal of Biotechnology and Strategic Health Research is the publication body of the Association of Experimental, Biotechnological, Clinical and Strategic Health Research and is published as three issues in April, August and December.

The magazine is a well-known international academic journal that publishes systematic reviews of the innovative aspects of biotechnology and health sciences in the fields of original research, compilation, case analysis, metaanalysis and biomedical research, clinical medicine, experimental studies, health management, patient safety, health policy, population health, bioinformatics is the publication body.

The findings of the research should be unique and should be accessible to the original author if required by the editors. An initial study of low originality or containing only descriptive and negative results is not appropriate. Articles accepted for publication must be unpublished works that are not considered to be published elsewhere, and all authors should accept the notification.

The articles should be written in English / Turkish. The Editorial Board of the Journal reserves the right to accept or reject the article at any stage and at any time, or to store part of the text, tables or figures.

The Journal of Biotechnology and Strategic Health Research does not charge for article submission fees or article processing fees.

The scientific responsibility of the manuscript belongs to the authors. The submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published in another scientific journal or submitted or accepted for publication in order to be published in the journal. If the submitted text has already been presented at any meeting; the name of the meeting, the date and the city where it is organized.

Clinical trials should be approved by the ethics committee. In all studies on people, it should be stated that the work in the "Materials and Methods" section is carried out by the committee (with the ethical approval number) or by the Helsinki Declaration of Principles (

In animal studies, the authors are obliged to indicate that they have protected animal rights and have obtained ethical approval in their work in line with the principles of the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals ( in the "Materials and Methods" section of the article.

If, for any reason, the author (s) is requested to withdraw from the publication (s), the application must be accompanied by a letter explaining the reasons and signed forms of all authors.

Articles submitted to the journal are first examined in terms of compliance with journal standards. Writes that do not fit into the form desired by the magazine are returned to their authors without further examination. All articles are subject to editorial review and correction; you may be asked to answer some questions from the writers and complete the missing ones when necessary.


At least three judgments shall be sent from the members of the advisory committee or the person concerned to the editorial review of the manuscripts that have been preliminarily evaluated and decided to comply with the rules of the journal, and the referees shall be asked whether they are appropriate for publication.


A final acceptance, revision, rewriting or decision of rejection may occur.

If corrections are required, they are sent again. The articles published in this review are reevaluated by the Editorial Board and the articles decided to be published are taken to the printing process; At this stage, detailed control and supervision is carried out for the correctness of all information; (ithenticate), after the evaluation of the language editor, before the publication is brought to the control and approval of the authors.

Authors are advised to follow the following principles before submitting their articles:

• Research articles and article collections should not exceed 20 pages including text, figures, tables and references; short announcements and case reports should not be longer than 7 pages.

Short Announcements

Articles must be typed in a double-spaced 10-point area, and all of the right, left, top and bottom margins should be 2.5 cm. The writing style should be Arial.

Manuscripts should have double-sided spacing and adequate spacing on both sides.

Articles must be written in Microsoft Word.

Abbreviations: Abbreviations should be defined first and then used continuously. Internationally accepted abbreviations should be used; If necessary, make a reference to scientific writing guides.

Cover Letter: should include statements about approval for text letter, manuscript category determination, single day submission confirmation, conflict of interest statement, sources of external resources, equipment (if any), approval of English article language and statistical analysis for original research.

Title Page: Title should be short and informative (Turkish and English). The title page must include a list of all contributors and their entirety. The attitudes of the authors and the names of the units and institutions to which they are affiliated should be written with the province. Complete the author's correspondence, including phone, mobile phone, fax number and email address.

TEXT Sections

The text file should contain the Turkish title, key words, key words with English title, text of the article, references, tables (only one table for one page), and number symbols (if any). In the text file, any information about the authors' names, institutions, figures and pictures should be excluded.

Abstract: Turkish and English abstracts should be given together with the title of the article. Four sections should be separated in the following order: Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusion. Abstracts should be 300 words on average. Summaries for case presentations should be unstructured and shorter (average 150-200 words, without structural distinctions in Turkish and English).

Objectives: The purpose of the work should be clearly stated.

Materials and Methods: The study and standard criteria should be defined; Whether it is retrospective or prospective should also indicate whether the study was randomly selected and should include applicable statistical methods.

Findings: The detailed results of the study should be given and the level of statistical significance should be indicated.

Conclusion: To summarize the results of the study, the clinical applicability of the results should be defined and positive and negative aspects should be reported.

Original investigations should include the following sections;

Introduction: It should consist of a brief description of the subject and indicate the purpose of the study by supporting it with the information obtained from the literature.

Materials and Methods: The study plan should clearly define whether the study is randomized, retrospective or prospective, the number of trials used, the characteristics and the statistical methods used.

Findings: The results of the study are given in numerical order of tables / figures; The results should be evaluated according to the applied statistical analysis methods. For details on preparing the visual material, see General Guidelines.

Discussion: The results of the study should be discussed with positive and negative aspects and compared with the literature.

Study Limitations: The limitations of the study should be detailed. In addition, an assessment of future research implications of the findings / results should be summarized.

Conclusion: The result should be emphasized.

Acknowledgment: At the end of the workshop, any technical or financial support or editorial contributions (statistical analysis, English / Turkish evaluation) should be made. Case Reports

Events that are rarely seen in case presentations, which are diagnostic and therapeutic innovation features and contribute to our current knowledge should be presented. In the first page, the title must contain an unstructured summary and key words that do not exceed 200 words in Turkish and English. The main text should consist of introduction, case presentation, discussion, endorsement, conclusion and references. The entire text should not exceed 5 pages (A4 formatted as indicated above).

Compilation Articles

Review articles may address any aspect of viral hepatitis Review articles should provide critical analysis of contemporary evidence and give directions to future investigations. Most review articles have been introduced, but other reviews are also welcome. Discussion with the editor is recommended before submitting the review.

The review articles analyze the issues independently and objectively in depth. The first part should contain Turkish and English title, unstructured summary and key words. All citations must be specified as source. The full text must not exceed 25 pages (A4, formatted as indicated above).


Editorial Letter

Editorial letters should be brief comments on current developments in biotechnology and health policies and their scientific and social aspects, or should be sent in order to ask questions or to make more contributions in response to this previous publication. Letters do not contain a title or abstract; She must not exceed 1,500 words and must make 7 applications.

Sources: Authors are obliged to state the references they may send to the Journal only if requested. Sources should be given in numerical order in the text (in parentheses) and at the end of the page or page at the same numbering order. All authors should be listed independently of the number. Magazine abbreviations should match the format used in the Cumulative Index Medicus ( It should only be listed on the publication, at the beginning (known by the publication) or with a number of doi in the references. It is preferred that the number of references should not exceed 50 for research articles, 100 for examinations and 10 for case presentations.

In the reference section of the article, there should be no writing in languages ​​other than English. The textual language of the vernacular must be specified in parentheses at the end of each reference. for example;

Figures, Pictures, Tables, and Graphics:

• All figures, pictures, tables and graphics should be indicated at the end of the relevant schedules.

Descriptions of figures, pictures, tables and graphics should be placed at the end of the article.

• Figures, images / photos should be added to the system as separate .jpg or .gif files.

• Manuscripts containing a color figure / picture / table will be published if accepted by the Journal. In case of publishing colored works, extra printing cost will be charged from the printer.

• All abbreviations used should be listed in the description section in the picture, table and graphic below each figure.

• Permissions must be given for figures, pictures, tables and graphics to be reproduced on them. This permission must be specified in the description.

• Pictures / photographs should be appropriate and contrasting to avoid color separation.

Conflict of Interest: If any author has a relationship based on his / her interests, this should be explained.

Acknowledgment: You accepted only the people and institutions that have contributed significantly to the study, but it was not the journalist's author.
