Code of Ethics
In the scope of our publication
ethics, Journal of Values Education expect from all its partners to comply with
the ethical responsibilities:
- The author who submits his/her
work for publication bears the responsibility to meet academic and scientific
- The author must declare that all
data presented in his/her article are original.
- The full
list of references and citations should be stated
- Although the
plagiarism check will be done by the journal, the author will be held
responsible for the plagiarized content and its consequences.
- A submitted article to our journal should not be under
review in any other journals.
- It should be ensured that all the
names of authors who contributed to the research are stated. To sate names
without any contribution with unscientific criteria such as title, age and
gender regardless the contribution order is contrary to the scientific ethics.
- It is assumed that the authors
who submitted their articles to the journal read and accept the ethical rules,
publication and writing principles of the journal.
- The authors should take into
account the guidelines of Scientific
Research and Publication Ethics Directive set by the
Turkish Higher Education Council.

- The referees should be aware that
they are ultimately responsible for the evaluation of the articles and also
responsible from enhancing the quality
of the scientific papers.
- The referees must accept the
articles they evaluate only when have the expertises necessary to make an
appropriate assessment for the given article.
- Through the review process, any
information on the article reviewed should not be shared with others in any

and authority to accept or reject an article.
- Editors should not be involved personal benefit or conflict relationship with
the authors of the article he / she has accepted or rejected.
