AB  - Trafik ortamında farklı şekil ve düzeylerde, içerisinde öfke ve saldırganlık barındıran pek çok olay yaşanmaktadır. Yol kullanıcıları arasında yaşanan bu olaylar, trafik güvenliğini tehdit etmekte ve olumsuz sonuçlara yol açmaktadır. Bu araştırma ile yol kullanıcılarının başlarından geçen “yol şiddeti (road rage)” kavramıyla adlandırabileceğimiz olayların ve bu olayların içerisinde sergilenen ve/veya maruz kalınan davranışların nitel analiz yöntemleri ile incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Açık uçlu bir sorunun yer aldığı araştırma linki 81 katılımcı tarafından doldurulmuştur. Katılımcıların yazılı olarak aktardığı öyküler nitel analiz tekniklerinden tematik analiz ve içerik analizi ile kapsamlı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. Tematik analiz sonuçları; olayın nedeni, en yoğun hissedilen duygular ve verilen tepkiler olmak üzere 3 ana tema olduğunu göstermiştir. Her bir ana temanın altında birbirleriyle ilişkili olduğu düşünülen 20 alt tema bulunmuştur. İçerik analizi sonuçları, yol kullanıcılarının en fazla sıklıkta ısrarlı takip deneyimlediklerini göstermiştir. Bulgular, ayrıntılı bir şekilde literatürdeki bilgiler çerçevesinde tartışılmıştır. Son olarak da yol şiddeti olaylarının azaltılması için yapılabilecekler üzerinde durulmuştur.

N2  - Many incidents involving anger and aggression in different forms and levels are in the traffic environment. These incidents among road users threaten traffic safety and lead to negative consequences. This research aimed to examine the incidents that we can call the concept of "road rage" that road users experience and the behaviours exhibited or exposed in the incidents with qualitative analysis methods. The research question link including an open-ended question was filled by 81 participants. The written stories of the participants were examined in detail with thematic analysis and content analysis, which are qualitative analysis techniques. Thematic analysis results showed that there are three themes: the reason for the incident, the most intense feelings and reactions to the incident. Under each theme, twenty subthemes thought to be related to each other were found. Content analysis results showed that road users most frequently experience stalking. The findings were discussed in detail within the framework of the information in the literature. Finally, it is focused on what can be done to reduce road rage incidents.
