AB  - Dejeneratif eklem hastalığı olarak da bilinen osteoartrit, en sık görülen temporomandibular eklem (TME) bozukluğudur. Temporomandibular eklem osteoartriti (TME-OA) kadınlarda daha sık görülür ve prevalansı yaşla birlikte artar. TME osteoartriti, değişken derecelerde enflamasyon, eklem kıkırdağının tahribatı ve subkondral kemik rezorpsiyonu ile karakterizedir. TME-OA, klinik ve/veya radyografik olarak algılandığında sıklıkla ileri bir aşamadadır. Bu yazida, temporomandibular eklem bölgesinde ağrı ve ağız açmada kısıtlılık şıkayeti ile kliniğimize başvuran iki erişkin hastada temporomandibular eklem osteoartriti sunulmaktadır.
