İçinde Levithal bulunan </span> <span lang="EN"> Petri </span> <span lang="TR"> kutularına standart </span> <span lang="EN"> staphylococcus </span> <span lang="TR"> suşunun 24 saatlik buyyon kültüründen ekilmiştir. Tetkik edilen 48 vak’anın yalnız 8’inde dördüncü </span> </span> </span> <span style="font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;"> <span style="font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;"> <span lang="EN"> absorbent point </span> <span style="font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;"> <span lang="TR"> etraf </span> </span> </span> </span> <span style="font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;">ında hiç inhibisyon zonu görülmemiş, 40 vak’ada (683,3) inhibisyon zonu bulunmuştur. </span> </p> <p>  </p> <p dir="ltr">SUMMARY </p> <p>  </p> <p dir="ltr">1) The probability of carrying into the medium terrmycin which is used as an antiseptic in case of pulpitis of the root canal has been investigated during taking material with the absorbent point. </p> <p>  </p> <p dir="ltr">48 hours following application of terramycn the root canal has been wiped out of four absorbent points. From the broth cultur of 24-hour-standard staphylococcus strain has been multiplied into the Levingthal Petri dish. Four absorbent points that were used to dry the root canal have been placed in the different shunts of the Petri dish-Inhibition zones of the absorbent points have been measured after 24 hours. </p> <p>  </p> <p>2) In all of the cases, inhibition zones of the first, second and third absorbent points have been observed. Only in eight out of the 48 cases in question, no inhibition zone was notted around the fourth absorbent point; in 40 cases (83,3 %) the inhibition zone was observed. </p> <p>  </p>}, number={1}, publisher={Istanbul University}
