AB  - Geleneksel aile yapısı içerisinde kadının eşitsiz konumu gözetmeyen aile terapisi alanı feministler tarafından eleştirilmektedir. Bu eleştiriler karşısında aile terapisi modellerinin toplumsal cinsiyete duyarlı bir açıdan nasıl ele alınabileceğinin yolları üzerinde durulması önemlidir. Aile terapisinde toplumsal cinsiyetin, ailenin şekillenmesinde önemli bir bağlam olarak ele alınması ve toplumsal cinsiyete duyarlı bir müdahalenin tasarlanması gerekmektedir. Virginia Satir aile terapisi modeli toplumsal cinsiyeti konumlandırması ve feminist bir terapi inşa etmeye yönelik görünüşteki ilgisizliği nedeniyle eleştirilirken, bu çalışmada herhangi bir terapi modelinin nasıl kullanılacağının uygulayıcıların bakış açısı, tarzı ve kendisini nerede konumlandırdığıyla ilgili olduğu düşüncesinden hareket edilmiştir.. Bu derleme çalışmasında öncelikle Virginia Satir’in aile terapisi modeli ve teknikleri ayrıntılı olarak sunulmuş, ardından bu model ve tekniklerin toplumsal cinsiyete duyarlı bir yaklaşımla uygulamada nasıl yorumlanabileceği üzerinde durulmuştur.

N2  - The field of family therapy, which does not consider the unequal position of women in the traditional family structure, is criticized by feminists. In the face of these criticisms, it is important to focus on how family therapy models can be addressed from a gender-sensitive perspective. In family therapy, gender should be considered as an important context in shaping the family and a gender-sensitive intervention should be designed. While the Virginia Satir family therapy model has also been criticized for its gender positioning and apparent indifference to constructing a feminist therapy, this study is based on the idea that how to use any therapy model is related to the practitioners' perspective, style and where they position themselves. In this review, first of all, Virginia Satir's family therapy model and techniques are presented in detail, and then it is emphasized how these models and techniques can be interpreted in practice with a gender sensitive approach.
