Structural characterization of the synthesized Schiff base compound was determined by FT-IR and 1H-13C NMR, spectroscopies. Also, the molecular structure of the compound was determined by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. The DNA binding ability of the compound was measured using UV-vis spectroscopy. Using the spectral changes, the DNA binding constant of the compound was calculated as Kb (M-1)= 6.25x105. The Kb value found suggests the existence of an intercalative interaction.}, number={1}, publisher={Osmaniye Korkut Ata Üniversitesi}
