AB  - İyi oluş tüm insanlığın ilgisini çeken ve ulaşılmak istenen bir kavram olarak tasvir edilmektedir. Bu sebeple iyi oluşa katkı sağlayan faktörler araştırmacıların ilgisini çekmiştir. Son yıllarda sosyal kimliğin rolünü irdeleyen yaklaşımlar hız kazanmış ve önemli ampirik bulgular elde edilmiştir. Fakat bu noktada grup statüsünün (avantajlı veya dezavantajlı) iyi oluş üzerindeki etkisine ilişkin farklı görüşler bulunmaktadır. Bir grup araştırmacı sosyal kimlik-iyi oluş ilişkisinin doğrusal olduğunu ve daha önce tanımlanan temel mekanizmalardan kaynaklandığını öne sürerken, bir grup araştırmacı bu ilişkinin statü gibi birtakım değişkenlerden etkilendiğini öne sürmektedir. Bu çalışma kapsamında alanyazında yapılan güncel araştırmalar ile gruplar arası bağlamın (statü) sosyal kimlik ve iyi oluş arasındaki ilişki üzerindeki düzenleyici rolüne dair bir tartışma yürütülmesi amaçlanmıştır. Buna göre statünün, sosyo-yapısal şartlar bağlamı göz önünde bulundurularak nasıl şekillendiği tartışılmıştır. Ayrıca bir diğer düzenleyici bağlam olarak görülen grup-içi faktörlerin de iyi oluş üzerindeki nasıl bir rol oynadığı yapılan çalışmalar doğrultusunda ortaya koyulmuştur. Bu çerçevelendirme ve alanyazında ortaya koyulan farklı bulguların, temelde iyi oluş-sosyal kimlik ilişkisinin dinamik bir süreç olmasına işaret ettiği öne sürülmüştür.

N2  - Well-being is described as a concept that attracts a great deal of attention from all humanity and is desired to be achieved by individuals. Therefore, researchers have shown interest to the factors that contribute to well-being. Recently, approaches examining the role of social identity have gained momentum and important empirical findings have been obtained, accordingly. Although the impact of social identity on well-being is well-defined, there are different views regarding the effect of group status (advantaged or disadvantaged) on well-being. Some researchers argue that the relationship between social identity and well-being is linear and stems from the previously defined basic mechanisms, another group of researchers argues that this relationship is affected by some variables such as status. The goal of the present article was to generate a discussion on the moderator effect of intergroup context (status) on the relationship between social identity and well-being. Accordingly, it has been discussed how the status is shaped by considering the socio-structural characteristics. In addition, the role of in-group factors, which is seen as another regulatory context on well-being, has been revealed by recent studies. It has been argued that this framing and inconsistent findings in the literature point to the fact that the relationship between well-being and social identity refers to a dynamic process.
