AB  - Geçmişten günümüze bazı geleneksel, tamamlayıcı ve alternatif tedavi yöntemleri gebeler tarafından kullanılmaktadır. Gebeler doğum eyleminde Anastatica Hierochuntica bitkisini suyun içine koyarak bitkinin açılmasıyla serviksin açılacağına, doğumu kısaltacağına, doğum sancısını azaltacağına ve bebeğin su gibi akmasını sağlayacağına inanırlar. Bu çalışmanın amacı, doğum eyleminde Anastatica Hierochuntica bitkisi kullanan kadınların doğum sürelerini belirlemek için yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada doğum sırasında Anastatica Hierochuntica'nın kullanıldığı 4 vaka incelenmiştir. Olgular arasında, otu suya koyan ve sonrasında suyu içen kadınların doğum sürelerinin daha kısa olduğu bulundu.

N2  - Some complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) can be used among pregnant women from past to present. Pregnant women believe that the cervix will open up as the herb in the water unfurls, shortening childbirth, decreasing pain of childbirth, and making the baby flow out like water. The aim of this study was to determine the thoughts of women who was used to Anastatica Hierochuntica and how effect the bitrh duration. In this study, 4 cases where Anastatica Hierochuntica was used during childbirth were examined. Among the cases, the childbirth durations of the women who placed the herb in the water and drank the water were found to be lower than the average childbirth durations.
