AB  - Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de Türk İşaret Dili mahkeme tercümanlığı hizmeti almış Sağır bireylerin aldıkları çeviri hizmetine yönelik görüşlerinin elde edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla 23 Sağır ile TİD kullanılarak diyalojik iletişim yöntemiyle yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler çevrimiçi olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Türkiye’de 7 şehirden 23 Sağır ile yapılan görüşmelerde, 2000-2022 yılları arasında %78,3’ünün 1-3 defa, %21,7’ünün 4-10 defa mahkemede çeviri hizmeti almış olduğu görülmektedir. Katılımcıların %39,1’inin mahkemede sunulan TİD çeviri hizmetini yeterli bulduğu, %26,1’inin yeterli bulmadığı ve %34,8’in ise kısmen yeterli bulduğu görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak mahkemede hizmet veren TİD tercümanlarının verdikleri çeviri hizmetine yönelik Sağır bireylerin değerlendirmeleri, beklentileri ve yaşadıkları sorunlarla ilgili önemli bulgular elde edilmiştir. Bu çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular ışığında TİD çevirisi alanındaki eğitimlere yönelik öneriler sunulmaktadır.

N2  - This study aims to collect Deaf users’ views of the interpreting services of Turkish Sign Language (TID) court interpreting in Türkiye. For this purpose, online semi-structured interviews were conducted with 23 Deaf users by using dialogic communication method in TİD. Having interviewed with 23 Deaf users in 7 different provinces of Türkiye, it is seen that  78.3% of the respondents took interpreting services 1-3 times and 21.7% of them took this service 4-10 times during 2000-2022. Also, while 39.1% of the participants found interpreting services sufficient, 26.1 % of them found it not sufficient, and 34.8 % of them found it partly sufficient. As a result, the study gathered important data on Deaf users’ evaluations, expectations and problems concerning the interpreting services of Turkish Sign Language (TID) court interpreting. In the light of the data collected, this study has some implications on TİD interpreter training.  Keywords: Turkish Sign Language, court interpreting, Deaf expectations, ethical
