Our purposes to approach three-dimensional modelling in tunnelling by a series of 2D computations using three procedures: The Lost Volume method (LVM), the Convergence Confinement method (CCM) and the face pressure method (Pf). A series of numerical studies was carried out to estimate the settlements, longitudinal and horizontal displacements. Analytical and empirical approaches have also been used to make comparisons.
