Yöntem: Sistematik derleme olarak yürütülen çalışmada, Kasım 2022-Ocak 2023 tarihleri arasında PubMed, Science Direct, EBSCO host, Medline, Ulusal Tez Merkezi ve Google Akademik dizinleri incelenmiştir. Tarama yapılırken ulusal ve uluslararası veri tabanları için “örnek olay yöntemi, örnek olay eğitim yöntemi, hemşirelikte örnek olay yöntemi ve vaka tabanlı öğrenme, hemşirelikte yönetim eğitiminde örnek olay yöntemi” anahtar kelimelerinin birleştirmeleri kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Yapılan taramalarda toplam 915 kayda ulaşılmış olup değerlendirme ölçütlerini karşılayan toplam 18 makale inceleme kapsamına alınmıştır. İncelenen çalışmaların %17’si nitel, %6’sı tanımlayıcı nitelikte olmakla beraber %54’ü randomize ve randomize olmayan kontrollü deneysel çalışmalardır. Çalışmaların çoğunluğunda (%56) örnek olay eğitim yöntemi ile geleneksel yöntem karşılaştırılırken, bir kısmında (%39) ise uygulamacıların görüşlerine odaklanılmıştır. İncelenen tüm çalışmalarda uygulama hakkında olumlu değerlendirmeler ve faydalı sonuçlar saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Hemşirelik eğitiminde örnek olay yöntemi kullanımı hemşirelik akademisyenleri açısından eğitimde yer verilmesi gereken önemli bir konu olmakla beraber hemşirelik öğrencilerinin temel mesleki gelişimine olumlu katkılar sunmakta ve hemşirelikte yönetim eğitiminde kullanılması ile yönetim becerileri gelişmektedir. KW - Hemşirelik Eğitimi KW - Hemşirelik Öğrencileri KW - Hemşirelikte Yönetim KW - Örnek Olay/Vaka Eğitim Yöntemi N2 - Objective: This study aims to evaluate the case study method, which is one of the contemporary education methods, in terms of nursing education and to gain a perspective on management education in nursingMethods: In the study conducted as a systematic review, PubMed, Science Direct, EBSCO host, Medline, Google Academic and National Thesis Centre indexes were examined between November 2022 and January 2023. While scanning, various combinations of the keywords “case study method, case study education method, case study method and case-based learning in nursing, case study method in nursing management education” were used for national and international databases. Results: In the screenings performed, 915 studies were reached, and 18 articles that fully met the inclusion criteria were included in the review. While 17% of the studies examined were qualitative, 6% were descriptive, 54% were randomized and non-randomized controlled experimental studies. While most studies (56%) compared the case study method with the traditional method, some (39%) focused on the practitioners' opinions. In all studies reviewed, positive evaluations and beneficial results were found about the application.Conclusion: Although the use of case study method in nursing education is an important issue that should be included in education for nursing academics, it also contributes positively to the basic professional development of nursing students and management skills are developed by using it in nursing management education.
