AB  - Çeşitli sistemik hastalıklarda, inflamatuar durumlarda, kemik displazilerinde, heterotropik kalsifikasyonlarda, ossifikasyonlarda, kistlerde ve tümörlerde lezyonun ihtiva ettiği kalsifiye yapıya bağlı olarak radyoopasite görülebilmektedir. Bu makalede klinikte tesadüfen tespit edilen üç farklı tip radyoopak lezyonun klinik ve radyolojik bulguları sunulmuştur.Çenede tesadüfen fark edilen radyoopasitelerin anlaşılması için bilgisayarlı tomografi, konik ışınlı bilgisayarlı tomografi, manyetik rezonans görüntüleme ve ultrasonografi gibi ileri görüntülemeye gerek duyulabilir. Muayene sırasında çenede görülen radyoopak lezyonların özelliklerinin iyi bilinmesi ve radyografik olarak doğru yorumlanması, ayrıcı tanılarının yapılması ve uygun tedavi yönteminin seçilmesi açısından önemlidir. Lezyonların doğru değerlendirilmesi, tanının doğru konulmasını sağlayarak hastayı potansiyel yan etkilerden koruyacaktır.

N2  - Radiopacity can be seen in various systemic diseases, inflammatory conditions, bone dysplasias, heterotropic calcifications, ossifications, cysts and tumors depending on the calcified structure of the lesion.In this article, clinical and radiological findings of three different types of incidentally detected radiopaque lesions are presented.Advanced imaging techniques such as computed tomography, cone-beam computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasonography may be required to understand radiopaque lesions detected incidentally in the jaw.It is important to have a good understanding of the characteristics of radiopaque lesions seen in the jaw during examination and to interpret them radiographically accurately for differential diagnosis and selection of appropriate treatment methods. Proper evaluation of the lesions will ensure accurate diagnosis, thereby protecting the patient from potential side effects. In conclusion, proper evaluation of radiopaque lesions in the jaw is important for the health of the patient. This requires the use of advanced imaging techniques and accurate radiographic interpretation for differential diagnosis and selection of appropriate treatment methods.
