AB  - Kronik hepatit C tedavisinde son 10 yılda çok büyük bir değişim olmuştur. Halen hastalığın tedavisinde en sık ribavirin ve pegile interferon (PEG-IFN) kullanılmaktadır. PEG kullanımına bağlı akciğer kaynaklı komplikasyonlar görülebilmesine rağmen plevral effüzyon bildirimi oldukça nadirdir. Bu yazıda ribavirin ve PEG-IFN tedavisi verin bir hastada gelişen izole plevral efüzyonu literatür eşliğinde sunmayı amaçladık.

N2  - There has been major changes in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C for 10 years. Ribavirin and pegylated interferon (PEG-IFN) are the most commonly used therapy at the present. Although pulmonary complications can be seen due to the use of PEG-IFN, pleural effusion is very rare. We aimed to present isolated pleural effusion as a rare complication developed while given ribavirin and PEG-IFN therapy.
