In this study, it is aimed togenerate optimum design of the housing of a ball screw's nut which is a part of z axis of woodworking cnc routerby Generative Design (GD) tool in terms of strength, weight, manufacturing process, manufacturing cost andmanufacturing duration with Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) process on Autodesk Fusion 360 software.Generated model's mechanical properties have been compared to the one produced by a traditional method.
