AB  - Aynoroz Yarımadası, dünyada kadın ve çocukların girişine yasaklanan en geniş alandır. Günümüzde,Yunanistan Cumhuriyeti’nde dinsel özerk statüde bulunan yarımadada bin yıldır yaşayan Ortodoks dinadamlarının oluşturduğu kültürel miras birikimi, farklı dönem ve tarzların, birbirine ve doğal çevreye uyumgösterdiği özgün bir mimarînin yanında kadın ve çocuklardan ayrışmış somut olmayan kültürel mirasrezervini de içermektedir. Üstün evrensel değer taşıdığı kabul gören bu zengin miras birikimi, 1988 yılındaUNESCO Dünya Miras Listesi’ne tanımlanmıştır. Bu tarihten itibaren yarımadada bulunan miraslarınkorunmasında yönetim ve denetim mekanizmaları, her biri iç işlerinde bağımsız olan manastırlar düzeyindeyerel, özerk keşişsel statüde bölgesel, Yunanistan Cumhuriyeti içerisinde ulusal ve bir dünya miras alanıolarak uluslararası boyutta olmak üzere girift bir yapıda gelişmiştir. Çalışmada, bu eşsiz yönetim ve denetimmekanizmasının yapısı incelenmiş ve miras korumada yönetim boyutlarının birbirleri ile olan bağlantısıortaya konulmuştur. Koruma ve yönetim kurumlarının Athos Dağı dünya miras alanına ilişkin bütüncül biryönetim planı hazırlanması konusundaki çabaları aktarılmış ve alandaki miras koruma boyutlarında yetkipaylaşımı ve sorumlu makamlar arası koordinasyon güçlüğü tartışılarak mirasa dair neden bütüncül biryönetim planı oluşturulamadığının sebepleri ortaya konulmuştur.
