The measurement tool used in the study is the FOMO Scale developed by Przybylski et al. (2013) and adapted into Turkish by Gökler, et al. (2016). A total of 200 young athletes, 66 female and 134 male, participated in the study. According to the findings, FOMO levels of young female athletes are higher than young male athletes. In addition, the FOMO levels of young athletes playing individual sports are higher than those playing team sports. However, no significant relationship was found between FOMO levels and other variables such as club league status, licence status and years of playing licensed sports. Among the age groups, FOMO levels of young athletes in the 16-17 age group were higher than the other age groups. Similarly, the FOMO levels of young athletes who participated in half of the training sessions were higher than the others. These results show that FOMO levels of young athletes may vary depending on different variables.}, number={1}, publisher={Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University}
