AB  - Kripto para birimi, dijitalleşmenin etkisiyle önemli bir fenomen haline gelmiştir ve son yıllarda bu alanda yapılan akademik çalışmalar hızla artmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı, 2014-2021 yılları arasında Web of Science veri tabanında taranan kripto para literatürünü bibliyometrik analiz yöntemleri ile sistematik olarak incelemektir. Analizlerde kullanılan Excel ve VOSviewer yazılımları, kripto para birimi konusundaki yayınların sayısını, atıf sayılarını ve bu çalışmalar arasındaki ilişkileri görselleştirme amacı taşımaktadır. Elde edilen bulgular, kripto para konusundaki yayınların son dört yılda önceki dört yıla göre SCI-Expanded, SSCI ve AHCI indekslerinde önemli bir artış gösterdiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Özellikle, konuya ilişkin yayın sayısının yaklaşık 13 kat artması ve bu yayınlara yapılan atıfların 41 kat artması, kripto paraların akademik ilgi ve araştırma açısından ne denli önemli hale geldiğini göstermektedir. Bu durum, kripto paraların finansal sistemler, ekonomik etkiler ve yasal düzenlemeler gibi konular üzerine daha fazla araştırma yapılmasına önayak olabileceğini işaret etmektedir.

N2  - Cryptocurrency has become an important phenomenon due to the effects of digitization, and academic studies in this field have been rapidly increasing in recent years. The aim of research is to systematically analyze the cryptocurrency literature indexed in the Web of Science database between 2014 and 2021 using bibliometric analysis methods. The software tools Excel and VOSviewer used in the analyses aim to visualize the number of publications on cryptocurrencies, citation counts, and the relationships between these studies. The findings reveal that there has been a significant increase in the number of publications on cryptocurrencies in the last four years compared to the previous four years in the SCI-Expanded, SSCI, and AHCI indexes. In particular, the approximately 13-fold increase in the number of publications on this topic and the 41-fold increase in citations indicate how significant cryptocurrencies have become in terms of academic interest and research. This situation suggests that there may be more research conducted on topics such as financial systems, economic impacts, and legal regulations concerning cryptocurrencies.
