One of the most critical negative consequences of the use of health information technologies is technostress. Technostress occurs more frequently in nurses working in Intensive Care Units, where health information technologies are used very frequently. This study was aimed at investigating the effect of technostress on job performance in intensive care nurses. Methods: In the sample of this cross-sectional study, 214 intensive care nurses were included. The “Technostress” and “Job Performance” scales were used to collect data. Results: The participating intensive care unit nurses had a moderate level of technostress and a high level of job performance. There was a positive, significant and low correlation between the participating nurses' technostress and job performance levels (r=0.146; p KW - Intensive Care KW - Intensive Care Nurse KW - Nurse KW - Technostress KW - Job Performance N2 - Amaç: Sağlık Bilgi Teknolojileri’nin doğru ve uygun seviyede kullanılması; yüksek verimlilik ve iş performansını gibi olumlu etkilere sahip olmasının yanında birtakım dezavantajlara da sahiptir. (2014).
